Impressing Your Girl On The First Date

More often than not, a guy tries too hard to impress the girl on the first date. At all times, he will be thinking of the “smartest” answer that will “impress” the girl. However, bear in mind that by doing this; you will on screw things up and make matters worse.


 Signs when a guy tries too hard to impress a girl:

-He will never make fun of the girl because he is afraid that it might offend her.

-He will take some time to answer when the girl throws him a question because he will try to come out with the “smartest” answer.

-He tries so hard to act “cool” and he comes in as “formal”

-He tries very hard to catch what the girl likes to go and what she tries to hear.
 

The above are examples of what a guy will usually do when he is trying too hard to impress the girl on the first date. Shockingly enough, those are big turn-offs to women.


The question now that remains are what exactly does a guy need to do in order to score on the first date?


Below are a couple of tips that you can take into consideration:

-Be spontaneous, casual and be nothing more than yourself. The key is to be gentleman and be polite but never be too formal. Try to make the girl feel good about yourself. Do things like slowing down your pace when walking with her, holding the door for her, etc.

-Be very clean.  Remember that, first impression lasts forever and is of utmost importance. So, make sure you put your best shirt and bottom on. Enjoy a good shower before you meet her up.  When spraying cologne, remember not to put on too much as having too much could be a big turn off.

-Talk constantly. It would be pretty awkward and awful on dates to be silent especially on first dates. Put in good initiative and try to be creative here. Ask her simple questions to keep the talking going but be careful not to make it sound like a questioning session.
-Walk her up to her door. Give her a warm hug and a decent good night kiss and also remember to tell her how much you enjoyed being with her. Just before you go, do not forget to tell her that you want to know if she would like to go out with you again anything soon.

-Send her a text message on her phone once you reach home. It is corteous to do so and will leave a good impressive. It also gives her a chance to tell you whether she'll like to follow up on that date and meet you on another occasion.
